Support Our 5K Walk for Liver Health!
We are a group of high school sophomores from Acton, Massachusetts, and founding members of Friends of Liver Foundation, WB–MA Chapter Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This year, we’re proud to participate in the Global Liver MOVEment—an international challenge led by the Global Liver Institute to raise awareness and drive action for liver health around the world.
On June 14, 2025, just two days after Global Fatty Liver Day (June 12), we will host a 5K walk in Acton to raise awareness about fatty liver disease, one of the most common and preventable liver conditions affecting millions globally.
Why We Walk
Fatty liver disease is a silent epidemic. It often progresses without symptoms but can lead to serious liver damage if left unaddressed. Through this event, we hope to educate our community, support those affected, and inspire healthy lifestyle changes that make a lasting impact.
